Dr. Knapp
Amanda Knapp, M.D., F.A.A.P. received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2002.
She completed her pediatric residency at the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong in 2005 and has been in private practice in Rochester since then.
Dr. Knapp says, “I love that I get to take care of kids of all ages, some of whom I’ve known since birth. Walking with families through the joys and struggles of parenting is a great privilege.”
Dr. Knapp is a board-certified pediatrician and a faculty member at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where she teaches medical students. Her professional interests include breastfeeding, nutrition, weight management, and adolescent gynecology. She enjoys cooking real food, traveling, practicing yoga, playing games with her family, reading about medicine (yes, she knows she’s a nerd), and serving in her church. She lives in Webster with her husband and two children.
