Dr. Savage
Kristen S. Savage, M.D., F.A.A.P., joined Irondequoit Pediatrics after completing her residency at the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong Memorial Hospital in 2003.
Dr. Savage helps her patients in every way possible, through using the most up-to-date practices, and by listening to and communicating with parents. She says, “I am a Mom too, so I know how important it is to listen to parents’ concerns. I encourage them to call and speak to me about anything. The health of a child is not limited to medical issues. Family, physical and social development, community and school, and nutrition are all important parts of well child care.”
Dr. Savage is a board certified pediatrician, member of the Monroe County Medical Society and the Medical Society of the state of New York, and she is also a faculty member at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. In her time away from the office, she loves to play with her children, go for hikes, read, do arts and crafts, play music, and cook. She often shares her recipes for kid-friendly foods with her patients. Dr. Savage lives in Webster with her husband and two sons.
