Alana is a Rochester native, having lived in Spencerport her whole life. She enjoys reading, yoga, traveling, good coffee, and spending time with family and friends. She also has one dog, a Bichon-poodle mix, named Teddy.

Alana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from The Ohio State University in 2018. While an undergraduate student, she volunteered at the NICU in Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. Then she attended St. John Fisher University for nursing school while working as a patient care technician at Unity Hospital and URMC. She then graduated with a second bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2020. She has worked almost her entire RN career in pediatrics but also has some experience in dermatology. Alana received her master’s degree in nursing (family nurse practitioner) in December of 2024, also from St. John Fisher University.

Alana has worked here at Irondequoit Pediatrics as a RN before transitioning to this new role as a NP. She is very excited to meet new patients and their families, and to continue to see those she has cared for previously as a nurse!
